ABOUT MDG
The founding partners of Mazzan Design Group, Cornelia
and Alan Mazzan, have a combined experience of 20
years helping clients and corporations achieve smart
design solutions. They launched Mazzan
Design Group in the Fall of 2004 and their client list
quickly expanded. The first few projects included
work for large corporations, not-for-profits,
educational institutions, small businesses and fine artists.
In 2007 Alan moved on to found Radiant
UX, a boutique user experience firm located in Asbury
Park, NJ.

Cornelia graduated with a BA in Fine Art from Montclair State University. She began her design career at National Geographic Interactive (NGI) in 1997 where she held the position of Designer. Using her background in photography, she developed and oversaw the Visions Gallery, an online gallery that featured up-and-coming National Geographic photographers, as well as many other online editorial pieces. After NGI she joined US Web/CKS (later known as marchFirst) and worked as a designer in the Milwaukee, WI and Bethesda, MD offices. Her client accounts included Special Olympics, Aetna, Fannie Mae and Harley-Davidson.
Prior to launching Mazzan Design Group with husband and business partner Alan Mazzan, Cornelia held the position of Art Director for Mindsurf Networks, a Sylvan Learning Company. She was responsible for the design of user interfaces for handheld wireless educational devices, as well as marketing and branding for the company as a whole.
At this point in her career, Cornelia enjoys creating sites for companies making a difference in the world and bringing beauty into the lives around them. Her most recent work has been with yoga studios, alternative schools, environmental groups, freelance writers, photographers, and fine artists.
